The 2013 annual luncheon and educational seminar will be held at Medical City Dallas,
in the City Hall, on Monday, August 12, 2013.
Kathleen Kendall-Tackett will be our speaker.



The next meeting of DABA will be on April 2, 2013.   There will not be a May meeting.
Our new home is at the WIC office at the Dallas Department of Health and Human Services,
2377 North Stemmons Hwy, Dallas, TX 75207.
The building in on the west side, southbound side, of Stemmons, across the freeway from Parkland Hospital,
between Market Center and Inwood.  There is free parking.

 

Mission

The mission of the Dallas Area Breastfeeding Alliance is to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in the Greater Dallas Area.

DABA works to achieve the following goals:

GOAL I:

Advocate legislation and public policy that support breastfeeding at the local and state level.

GOAL II:

Promote breastfeeding awareness and encourage community support. 

GOAL III:

Develop strategies to to increase breastfeeding rates in the Greater Dallas Area. 


 
The DABA is a volunteer, non-profit group.

DABA meets at noon on the first Tuesday of the month.
Our new home is at the WIC office at the Dallas Department of Health and Human Services  2377 North Stemmons Hwy , 75207.

     Go to the 4th floor, turn left off the elevator and see the receptionist for the WIC office.  The building is on the west side (southbound)of Stemmons – basically across the highway from Parkland ..between Market Center and Inwood.  Free parking (no need for validation stickers) and easy to find…


  The DABA is a volunteer, non-profit group.  All interested parties are welcome to participate.

The Texas Breastfeeding Coalition is a consortium of breastfeeding promotion groups, organizations that work with mothers and babies, and interested individuals from across the state.

We hope you will join us in our efforts to increase breastfeeding rates in Texas and make breastfeeding the norm for all babies born in Texas!

There is a multitude of information on this website you can use in your local community to help promote breastfeeding. Please share with us the activities you are doing in your community to promote breastfeeding so we can share this information with others.
