Barbara Wilson-Clay has been assisting breastfeeding families since 1981. She became IBCLC in 1987 and became a Fellow of the International Lactation Consultant Association in 2008. She maintained a private practice for many years in Austin Texas, was vice president of the Board of Directors of the Mothers Milk Bank at Austin, served on the legislative lobbying team with Healthy Mothers-Healthy Babies, Austin and was a member of the Board of Directors for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, 1997-1999. She is coauthor of The Breastfeeding Atlas, (now in its 6 edition) and has authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals. She has lectured throughout the world at various breastfeeding conferences.
Diana West is an IBCLC in New Jersey, a La Leche League Leader and director of Media Relations for La Leche League International. She is the co-author of Sweet Sleep, the 8th edition of the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, Breastfeeding Mother’s Guide to Making More Milk, Breastfeeding after Breast and Nipple Procedures and ILCA’s Clinician’s Breastfeeding Triage Tool. She is author of Defining Your Own Success: Breastfeeding after Breast Reduction Surgery. She serves as administrator of the BFAR.org and LowMilkSupply.org websites, while lecturing extensively throughout the US, Canada and UK.
